E Bike Battery Lockers

The E-Bike Battery lockers are certified to VDMA 24994:2024-08 standard by ECB.S and constructed to safeguard both lives and property from the potentially catastrophic consequences of Lithium battery fires. Providing a secure storage and charging solution tailored for Lithium-Ion batteries, these units mitigate the myriad of risks posed by such batteries, including thermal runaway due to temperature fluctuations, impact, or manufacturing defects. Such hazards can lead to spontaneous ignition and formidable fire outbreaks, that pose significant challenges for extinguishment.

FIRE PROTECTION (INSIDE TO OUTSIDE) - VDMA 24994:2024-08 Certified for a maximum single battery of 2500Wh and total capacity of 7500Wh.

FIRE PROTECTION (OUTSIDE TO INSIDE) - Tested to EN 14470-1 - Fire protection for 90 minutes from outside to in. NT Fire 017-120p certified - Fire protection for 120 minutes from outside to in.

The Battery Commander Series ensures peace of mind through its sturdy double-wall construction, certified for fire resistance, impact resistance, and security. UK Police approved (Secured By Design scheme).

Customers can select from three size options, each offering either key or electronic locking mechanisms, integrated smoke detectors, reinforced insulated shelving, and built-in power outlets. Furthermore, this range includes a plinth for effortless relocation and removal from the premises in case of a fire emergency.

• LOCKING Fitted with an advanced high security electronic lock with clear LED display, dual control, hidden code and scrambled code that can be programmed as standard. The lock can further be upgraded to incorporate multiple user audit trail so that user’s usage can be monitored.
• DROP TEST – Fire and impact tested from 9.1 metres for resistance to the impact of falling through the burning floors of a building.
• CHARGING – Safely charge your Lithium batteries using the fitted power points
• VENTILATION – Fitted as standard with air exhaust duct, for added ventilation. Dedicated ducting to the outside is also strongly recommended for the most secure and safe extraction in the event of thermal runaway.
• SHELVING – Supplied with reinforced and insulated height adjustable shelves capable of carrying 100kg at a time.
• PLINTH – allows easy movability and removal from the building in the event of a fire situation. The plinth is supplied with a front cover to provide a neat exterior finish.
